Delete your Meta data
This page explains how to remove Kahu Logic’s access to your Facebook, Instagram and Meta ads data, and how to have every copy we hold deleted. It supplements section 8 of our Privacy Policy.
1. Disconnect (stops all access immediately)
Either of the following revokes Kahu’s access to your Meta accounts immediately:
- From Kahu — open Settings → Integrations in your workspace and disconnect Facebook / Instagram / Meta ads.
- From Facebook — go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, find “KahuLogic” and remove it. Facebook notifies us automatically and our access ends immediately.
2. Request deletion of stored data
Disconnecting stops new access. To also delete the data we already hold from your Meta accounts (post content, engagement figures, ad performance):
- Email [email protected] from the email address on your Kahu account with the subject “Meta data deletion”, or
- If you removed the app through Facebook and submitted a data deletion request there, Facebook gives you a confirmation code and a link to this page. Keep the code — it identifies your request, and you can quote it in any follow-up with us.
We complete deletion within thirty days and email you confirmation. Data we are legally required to retain (for example tax invoices) is excluded; that never includes your Meta content or performance data.
3. Checking the status of a request
If you arrived here from Facebook with a confirmation code, your deletion request has been received and is being processed. To ask about its status, email [email protected] and include the code.
